SETA Training and Advisory Services Limited (SETA) in the UK is an accredited training provider to deliver NEBOSH IGC course. CMS in association with SETA have been organising NEBOSH IGC training programme for 17 years.
COURSE AIM & OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course delegates will be able to appreciate and understand their responsibilities and that of there subordinate staff. They will be able to recognise and control common risks associated with many different work based activities which will include the manufacturing environment, the office environment construction activities and others and appreciate the standards of health and safety to be applied in key areas of these activities

This certificated course has been designed for any person who holds a responsibility for health and safety matters including accident prevention and the avoidance of occupational ill health; in particular managers, consultants, contractors and persons in supervisory and managerial positions within their organisation.

Practical Assessment – Site visit to undertake practical assessment
Examinations – Following 2 written exams will be held on the Monday after completion of 10 days classroom training programme.
IGC1 Unit: Management of International Health and Safety (morning exam)
GC2 Unit: Control of Workplace Hazards (afternoon exam)
ASSESSMENT/CERTIFICATION:
The NEBOSH INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH has been recognised for many years as the basis for a sound, broad introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. The syllabus and means of assessment were revised recently to take account of current developments in health and safety and in vocational assessment.
Also all participants will receive an attendance certificate with a note added to confirm that the course was approved by the HRDA, a memorable photo of the site visit a Clip board and pad for all site visits.

MEMBERSHIP OF PROFESSIONAL BODIES:
International:
Holders of NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The qualification also meets the academic requirements for Technical membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
COURSE REGISTRATION AND STUDYING:
Delegates on the course need to be registered with NEBOSH early, so prompt registration on this course will need to be made 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE COURSE COMMENCES. A requisite of the course also requires delegates to commence studying well in advance of the course;
