DESCRIPTION:COURSE AIM &amp\; OBJECTIVETo provide delegates with the opport
 unity to acquire the skills and knowledge to meet the requirements of the 
 Confined Space Regulations 1997 and to understand the Cypriot Legislation\
 , relating to Confined Space and appoint authorised personnel to manage\, 
 control and issue permits to work to skilled persons.\n\nCOURSE CONTENT\n\
 nOverview of associated statutory legislation.\n\nIntroduction to MOD Safe
 ty Rules and Procedures for Confined Spaces.\n\nScope of the MOD Safety Ru
 les and Procedures for Confined Spaces.\n\nHazardous atmospheres\, detecti
 on and monitoring.\n\nRisk assessments associated with confined spaces.\n\
 nManagement\, application and control of documentation.\n\nOperational app
 ointments\, roles and duties of appointed personnel. ·\n\nPersonal protec
 tion and hygiene measures.\n\nMechanisms of breathing and the need for bre
 athing apparatus (B/A)\n\nSelection and use of Escape B/A\n\nSelection and
  use of Self Contained B/A\n\nEmergency Procedures\n\nPractical exercises\
 n\n\n\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\n\nIt is a requirement that delegates atte
 nding this course should be physically and mentally fit (further guidance 
 provided in standard terms and conditions for courses).\n\nDelegates will 
 be continuously assessed by the trainers during the course and complete a 
 test at the end of the course.\n\nA Certificate of Training\, valid for a 
 period of four years will be awarded to each successful delegate.\n\nAll 
 equipment necessary for training on the course is provided by the delegate
 s in some cases the hire of equipment may be necessary.\n\nASSESSMENT/CERT
 IFICATION\n\nEach delegate will receive a UK recognised certificate of t
 raining upon successful completion of the Course with a note added to conf
 irm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Development
