DESCRIPTION:\n\nCOURSE AIM &amp\; OBJECTIVES:-\n\nThe course is designed t
 o meet the requirement for the Management\, Authorization and Supervision 
 of Work at height on the MOD Estate in accordance with the requirements an
 d procedures of MOD Safety Rules and Procedures contained in JSP 375\, Vol
 ume-2\, and Chapter-7.\n\nThe course will provide delegates with the requi
 red level of understanding of procedures they need to follow which are ass
 ociated with Working at Height and give the necessary guidance to carry ou
 t their duties to meet mandatory and statutory requirements.\n\nWho will b
 enefit: \n\nPersons who have been selected for appointment as Authorizing
  Engineers (AE)\, Authorized Persons (AP) and Persons in Charge (POC) Work
 ing at Height.\n\nWhat will be covered?\n\n 	An Introduction to the Health
  and Safety at Work etc.  Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safet
 y at Work Regulations v1999.\n 	The Working at Height regulations 2005.\n 
 	Types of Working at Height\n 	Application of JSP 375\, Volume 2 Chapter 7
 \n 	Safety Management Team\n 	Fall Protection Equipment (FPE) and Personal
  Protective Equipment (PPE)\n\n\n\n\n 	Authorised Climbers\n 	JSP Document
 ation\n 	Safe Systems of work for Work at Height\n 	Risk Assessment for Wo

  demonstrations\, power-point presentation\, training handouts\, Scenario

 ertification:\n\nEach delegate will receive a certificate (valid for a per
 iod of FOUR years) of training upon successful completion of the Course wi
 th a note added to confirm that the course is approved by the Cyprus Human
  Resource Development Authority.\n\nCourse Presenter(s):\n\nMr Martin Hipp
 sley\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nDelegates attending the course\, who ar
 e to be appointed under the MOD Safety Rules\, should be in possession of 
 a competed and countersigned log book at the beginning of the course.\n\nC
 andidates will be assessed in accordance with Defence Estate standards and
  procedures.  This course is not designed as an Approved Climbers Course.
