SUMMARY:Confined Spaces Using Escape & Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus -

DESCRIPTION:COURSE BENEFITS &amp\; AIM:\n\nTo give delegates a thorough und
 erstanding of the dangers of confined spaces.\n\nTo enable delegates to en
 ter\, work and leave confined spaces including a vertical shaft\, using es
 cape sets and full working breathing apparatus\, where it is appropriate f
 or the company to do so.\n\nTo train delegates so that they not only know 
 what to do\, but also what not to do at the scene of an emergency.\n\nTo p
 rovide delegates with an awareness of the skills required when wearing Bre
 athing Apparatus and an overview of the MOD Safety Rules for Confined Spac
 es\, JSP375 Volume 3 Chapter 6\, if required to work on the MOD estate.\n\

  B/A (SCBA)\n\nThe Practical use of SCBA\n\nRisk Assessment for Confined S
 paces\n\nManagement\, application and control of Documentation\n\nSafe sys
 tems of work for Confined Spaces Operations'\n\nValidation Exercises\n\nAS
 SESSMENT/CERTIFICATION:\n\nAll delegates after being assessed and successf
 ul completing the course will be awarded a CMS certificate with a note add
 ed to confirm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource De
 velopment Authority.\n\nCOURSE PRESENTER: Chris Christodoulou\n\nADDITIONA
 L INFORMATION:\n\nIt is a requirement that delegates attending this course
  should be physically and mentally fit. All delegates must bring with them
  a current medical certificate from their local doctor to prove they are a
 ble to enter into confined spaces\, and a current inoculation certificate.

 \n\nDelegates will be continuously assessed by the trainer during the cour
 se. All equipment necessary for training on the course is provided by the 
 delegates in some cases the hire of equipment may be necessary.\n\nThe con
 tent of this course includes awareness of periodic examinations of equipme
 nt. The course does not provide full training in the maintenance of equipm
 ent. Additional training relating to this subject may be of benefit to del
