SUMMARY:Confined Spaces Using Escape & Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus -

DESCRIPTION:\n\nCOURSE BENEFITS &amp\; AIM:\n\nTo give delegates a thorough
  understanding of the dangers of confined spaces.\n\nTo enable delegates t
 o enter\, work and leave confined spaces including a vertical shaft\, usin
 g escape sets and full working breathing apparatus\, where it is appropria
 te for the company to do so.\n\nTo train delegates so that they not only k
 now what to do\, but also what not to do at the scene of an emergency.\n\n
 To provide delegates with an awareness of the skills required when wearing
  Breathing Apparatus and an overview of the MOD Safety Rules for Confined 
 Spaces\, JSP375 Volume 3 Chapter 6\, if required to work on the MOD estate
 .\n\nWHO WILL BENEFIT:\n\nManagers\, Supervisors\, Engineers\, Operatives\
 , Plumbers\, Electrician\, Technician\, Health &amp\; Safety officers and 
 staff who are required to enter and/or work in permanent Confined Spaces o
 n the MOD Estates and work in accordance with the latest European Legislat
 ions\n\nCOURSE CONTENT:\n\nOverview of associated Legislation relating to 
 Confined Spaces\n\nHazards and Risk of Confined Space Operations\n\nOvervi
 ew of the MOD Safety Rules for Confined Spaces\n\nGases and Gas Monitoring
 \n\nThe need for Breathing Apparatus (B/A)\n\nIntroduction to Escape B/A (
 E B/A)\n\nPractical use of Escape B/A\n\n\n\n\nIntroduction to self contai
 ned (Working) B/A (SCBA)\n\nThe Practical use of SCBA\n\nRisk Assessment f
 or Confined Spaces\n\nManagement\, application and control of Documentatio
 n\n\nSafe systems of work for Confined Spaces Operations'\n\nValidation Ex
 ercises\n\nASSESSMENT/CERTIFICATION:\n\nAll delegates after being assessed
  and successful completing the course will be awarded a Logic certificate 
 and ID card with a note added to confirm that the course was approved by t
 he Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority.\n\nCOURSE PRESENTER: TBA\n
 \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\n\nIt is a requirement that delegates attending 
 this course should be physically and mentally fit. All delegates must brin
 g with them a current medical certificate from their local doctor to prove
  they are able to enter into confined spaces\, and a current inoculation c
 ertificate. (Further guidance provided in standard terms and conditions fo
 r courses).\n\nDelegates will be continuously assessed by the trainer duri
 ng the course. All equipment necessary for training on the course is provi
 ded by the delegates in some cases the hire of equipment may be necessary.
 \n\nThe content of this course includes awareness of periodic examinations
  of equipment. The course does not provide full training in the maintenanc
 e of equipment. Additional training relating to this subject may be of ben
