SUMMARY:Swimming Pool Operation and Maintenance Course
DESCRIPTION:\nWHO WILL BENEFIT\n\nStaffs who are involved in the maintenanc
 e and operational up keep of swimming pools both in the Private Sector and
  Hotel Industry.\n\nWHAT WILL BE COVERED?\n\nLegal and moral obligations i
 ncluding health and safety issues\, advisory notes\, codes of practice and
  health related problems.\n\nPollution of water.\n\nWater quality\, pH\, a
 nd alkalinity.\n\nMethods of water disinfection\n\nWater circulations.\n\n
 Plant operational and maintenance.\n\nFiltration and ventilation.\n\nWater
  testing - sampling – temperature - legionella.\n\nTRAINING METHODS &amp
 \; EQUIPMENT USED:\n\nLCD projector\, flip chart and course notes. Water t
 esting – sampling – temperature – Legionella. The assessment consist
 s of practical and written question paper\, which is designed to test dele
 gate’s ability to carry out the procedures described above.\n\nASSESSMEN
 T &amp\; CERTIFICATION:\n\nAll delegates after being assessed and successf
 ul completing the course will be awarded a certificate with a note added t
 o confirm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Develo
 pment Authority.\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\n\nThe course will make the de
 legates aware of the Health and Safety Hazardous and risks involved in mai
 ntaining Swimming Pools and inform them of the diseases that may be contai
