ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF ROADS AND OTHER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS – DAY 3
Course Objective:
To provide participants with an enhanced understanding of the process of Environmental Impact Assessment as applied to major construction projects such as highways, power stations, waster management projects, and reservoirs and minerals extraction.

Special requirements for Environmental Impact Assessments of highways.
Exercise on Environmental Impact Assessment of a highway project.

BENEFITS:
This practical hands on series of workshops will give delegates a through understanding of Environmental Impact Assessments, where they are necessary and how to carry them out. These workshops have a number of cases studies, where delegates can work in groups and get a feel of how to compile an EIA in any type of project.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The workshop is ideal for Clients, Managers, Supervisors, Persons in Charge of projects and delegates who are involved in Planning, Project Management and have to prepare EIA submissions, prepare project briefs. However it will also suit anyone with an interest in identifying Environmental Impact Assessments.
ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATION
All delegates after being assessed and successful completing the course will be awarded a Crane Environmental certificate, with a note added to confirm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority.
