Staffs who are involved in the maintenance and operational up keep of swimming pools both in the Private Sector and Hotel Industry.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED?
Legal and moral obligations including health and safety issues, advisory notes, codes of practice and health related problems.
Pollution of water.
Water quality, pH, and alkalinity.
Methods of water disinfection
Water circulations.
Plant operational and maintenance.
Filtration and ventilation.
Water testing – sampling – temperature – legionella.
TRAINING METHODS & EQUIPMENT USED:
LCD projector, flip chart and course notes. Water testing – sampling – temperature – Legionella. The assessment consists of practical and written question paper, which is designed to test delegate’s ability to carry out the procedures described above.
ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION:
All delegates after being assessed and successful completing the course will be awarded a certificate with a note added to confirm that the course was approved by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The course will make the delegates aware of the Health and Safety Hazardous and risks involved in maintaining Swimming Pools and inform them of the diseases that may be contained within the Swimming Pools (such as Legionella).
